One day I got this hair-brain idea to start blogging. To be honest, I was inspired by many of blogs I've read in the past; namely Kandice (my sis-in-law), and Susan (my cousin-in-law), but there are many others. I thought, I can do this too. I love to write, but mostly I love to write about my life experiences and share them with others so that I can benefit from the feedback and not feel so crazy insane on those days where things are ...well, Foggy!
My blog will be different than most I've kept up with. I see mine as a learning tool, for myself really. You see, I love to learn about comparative mythology, and I love the teachings by Joseph Campbell. I'm not a big reader, but I have dozens of his books, and have only completed a few. I thought about blogging and how Joseph Campbell's teachings, and mythology in general have really guided me through many of my tough times. So, when I'm having a foggy day, I think I'll turn to these teachings and write about what they teach me - the themes will be so familiar to all of us.
